Nomadworks is Now a Member of the COVID-19 Program for Coworking Spaces, Safe Spaces

We are proud to join Colliers and Upflex as an initial member of Safe Spaces™, a program designed to enhance workspace standards post COVID-19. The goal is to ensure members and employees feel safe so businesses can come back stronger than ever! Here’s how it will work:

Social Distancing at Our Coworking Space

At Nomadworks, we have been conscious of social distancing guidelines since the beginning of the pandemic, and have our New York City coworking location strategically laid out to allow our members to stay a safe distance apart from one another while using our facilities.

Here are the Safe Spaces guidelines on social distancing we’ve been implementing at Nomadworks:

  • We’ve implemented social distancing measures and prevent unnecessary close contact to help prevent the spread of infection
  • We’ve worked with our internal term and members to maintain physical space between people in the coworking space, keeping at least 2 meters (~6 feet) between members

Cleaning & Disinfecting of Private & Public Office Spaces

Whether you are hot desking or using a dedicated desk in one of our shared coworking areas, or are keeping to yourself in a private office space,  we’re fully committed to maintaining as cleanly of an office space for you as possible.

We’ve been utilizing disinfectants all along, and easily comply with the Safe Space guidelines of cleanliness:

  • Professional cleaning is done frequently to remove germs and lowers the risk of spreading infection.
  • We have reviewed the list of approved disinfectants by the EPA and have ensured cleaning staff are aware of the correct products to kill off germs on clean surfaces.
  • Windows and doors (to the extent possible) are opened to increase air circulation
  • All surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected at least twice a day, including:
    • Doorknobs and door push plates handrails and buttons on elevators
    • Desks and chairs and all tables
    • Bathroom faucet handles, paper towel dispenser handles, toilet flush handles, and hand dryer buttons
    • Kitchen faucets, refrigerator handles, coffee pot handles and buttons, and microwave and toaster buttons Light switches
